We hold regular monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of the month. The May meeting will be held Tuesday, May 12 at the Perkins Restaurant on 72nd and Grover streets. (3529 S 72nd St) The meetings begin at 6:30, but come early and have a cup of coffee, a coke or even dinner with us! (They have great pie!)
We all pitch in and do what is needed to keep the range in shape every month as well. The next work party is tentatively scheduled for May 17th. If you can come, the help would be greatly appreciated, give a call or send an e-mail to Sean or Cal so they know you're coming. Please bring something to share for lunch, if you can - buns, chips, sodas. Call or e-mail using the links provided to see what is needed. Club will provide weenies, brats, or some sort of meat.<g>
We usually host monthly shoots on the fourth Sunday of the month, unless a holiday or some other conflict requires it's re-scheduling. In May, the shoot will be held May 24. We encourage folks to come down and shoot with us! (See our entire 2008 schedule here).
Club members take turns hosting the event. We always have fun, and have many challenging contests the do not involve paper targets. Some of the events may include feather shoots, candle shoots, vegetable of the month, darts and poker. If you don't know what those are, come out and see! Remember, anyone and everyone is invited to attend. Come out and see how you stack up against our shooters.
We would like to thank the other area clubs for agreeing to coordinate weekend area events so we all have a chance to attend each others shoots.
